The Document Manager allows you to host documents in Enterprise and link to your documents from any content section in Enterprise that uses the Rich Text Editor. Click the Document Manager icon in the Rich Text Editor to open the Document Manager.

The Document Manager supports hosting of .css, .doc, .docx, .htm, .html, .js, .ics, .odp, .ods, .odt, .pdf, .ppt, .pptx, .rtf, .txt, .vcs, .xls, .xlsb, and .xlsx file types.

The "universal" folder is available only if you have multiple sites in Fishbowl's Enterprise system; documents uploaded to this folder will be available in all your sites. Documents in the "site" folder, on the other hand, are only available in the current site. If you have multiple sites and do not see the "universal" folder, please contact Fishbowl Client Support and ask for your sites to be associated to allow document sharing across sites.

To create a new folder in the Document Manager, either in the Site or Universal root folders, click the New Folder icon or right click over the folder menu on the left.

To insert a link to a document, find the document you are looking for in the Document Manager and select it by clicking on the document name, edit the document properties at the right if desired, then click Insert in the lower right of the Document Manager.

To delete a document from the Document Manager, find the document you are looking for and select it by clicking on the document name then click Delete ( ). It should be noted that deleting or overwriting documents in the Document Manager will delete or modify the original file, so this should be done with caution if the document was ever referenced in a sent mailing or linked to on a publicly available page.

To upload an document(s) to the Document Manager, click on the Document Manager icon () in the Rich Text Editor. From the Document Manager window click Upload (). Click Select to browse to your computer or local network and select the document(s) you wish to upload. Once you have selected all of the documents you wish to upload to the Document Manager, click Upload.
