The Image Manager allows you to insert images into any content section in Enterprise that uses the Rich Text Editor. Click the Image Manager icon in the Rich Text Editor to open the Image Manager.
The "library" folder (see screenshot below) allows you to insert existing images from your Image Library but does not allow you to edit the folder structure or to upload images.
The "site", "LSM" and "universal" folders (see screenshot below) allow you to:
- insert existing images
- upload new images
- edit images
- create, delete, and rename subfolders
The "LSM" folder is available only if you are using Fishbowl's Local Store Marketing; images uploaded to this folder will be available in both LSM and in Enteprise.
The "universal" folder is available only if you have multiple sites in Fishbowl's Enterprise system; images uploaded to this folder will be available in all your sites. Images in the "site" folder, on the other hand, are only available in the current site. If you have multiple sites and do not see the "universal" folder, please contact Fishbowl Client Support and ask for your sites to be associated to allow image sharing across sites.
To create a new folder in the Image Manager in the "site", "LSM" or "universal" root folders, click the New Folder icon or right click over the folder menu on the left.
To insert an image, find the image you are looking for in the Image Manager and select it by clicking on the image name or thumbnail of the image, then click Insert in the lower right of the Image Manager window. You can insert images from the Image Library folders or the Image Manager folders.
To delete an image from the Image Manager, find the image you are looking for and select it by clicking on the image name or the thumbnail of the image, then click Delete. Images in the Image Library and any folders in the Image Library can only be deleted from the Image Library, not from within the Image Manager. It should be noted that deleting or overwriting images in the Image Manager will delete or modify the original file, so this should be done with caution if the image was ever referenced in a sent mailing.
To upload an image(s) to the Image Manager, click on the Image Manager icon in the Rich Text Editor. From the Image Manager window click Upload. Click Select to browse to your computer or local network and select the image(s) you wish to upload. Once you have selected all of the images you wish to upload to the Image Manager, click Upload.
You will see the images you have just uploaded in the selected folder. If you need to move images to another folder, you can drag images from the center window to the desired folder on the left. Right clicking on an image for additional options, including renaming or deleting an image.
The window at the far right shows a preview of the selected image.
Click the Properties tab under the selected preview to view and edit various image properties.
From the Preview/Properties window, the Image Editor is available. The Image Editor allows you to edit images in the Image Manager folders. The Image Editor is not available for images in the Image Library.
You can modify your image using the buttons in the toolbar at the top of the Image Editor. Once you have finished editing your image, select Save to commit your changes.
