When you click on the send icon on the unsent mailings screen you will be taken to the "Schedule Mailings" page where you will have the following options:

Schedule this Mailing (or Edit the Mailing's schedule if it has been previously scheduled)

To schedule a mailing, click on the link and then fill in the appropriate Month, Day, Year, and Time values using the dropdowns. This date/time should be entered in your computer's local time zone, as determined by your operating system settings rather than by any configurable option within Enterprise.

Once you have entered the date and time, click "Save" to schedule the mailing. You can also click "Unschedule" to erase the scheduling information you had previously entered for a mailing. This will cancel its deployment and set its status to "Unscheduled" on the Unsent Mailings screen (you can reschedule the mailing at any point thereafter). Click "Cancel" to exit this screen without saving any changes.

NOTE: If your mailing is missing a recognizable unsubscribe mechanism in the HTML and Text versions, you will not be able to send or schedule your mailing. If you see this message and are sending mailings from Enterprise that do not require an unsubscribe (certain transactional or non-marketing messages) or if you are managing your unsubscribes outside of Enterprise and feel that you should not be receiving this message, please contact Client Support.

Send this mailing now

Click on this link to deploy a mailing immediately. A confirmation message will be displayed before the mailing is sent.

Click on the link to deploy the mailing. You will then see a status screen which displays the mailing's deployment status, including messages pushed, bounces, opens and clicks. This screen will automatically refresh until the mailing has completed. If you are deploying a large mailing, you do not need to keep this screen open for the duration of the deployment -- you may close the window and the mailing will continue to deploy.

Test this mailing

Often you will want to send a test version of a mailing to yourself and others within your organization before deploying the actual mailing. To send a test mailing, click on the "Test this mailing" link. You will then see a table which displays all available Testers for your Enterprise Site.

Select the recipients to whom you would like to send the test mailing and click "Send Test Mailing Now." Optionally, if you would like to send a test with only text content, select "Send this test message text-only (no HTML content)" and then select Send Test Mailing.

All test mailings will have "TEST" in the subject line so that you can distinguish them from the actual deployment. To add Testers for your Site, see the Testers section under Settings.

Show Recipient Count for this Mailing

Before sending a mailing, you will probably want to know the number of recipients to which the mailing will be sent. Clicking on the "Show Recipient Count for this Mailing" link will generate a message similar to the one below. You can optionally get the Recipient Count on the Edit Mailing page of any Unsent mailing.

If your Site has been configured to send copy of every sent mailing to all Administrators, the message will indicate the number of Administrators who will receive the mailing, in addition to the number of Members.

Members who have reached the limit of hard or soft bounces (one and five, respectively) will not be included in this count, even though they may be subscribed to the targeted mailing list and meet all specified segmentation criteria. The count may also change from minute to minute as Members subscribe to -- or unsubscribe from -- the targeted List.

Check Links and Images

Clicking this link allows you to quickly and easily verify that the links and images in your mailing are retrieving images and web pages successfully. Click here for additional information on this feature.

Create/View Inbox Previews

Clicking this link allows you to create a new Inbox Preview Test or to view the results of previous Inbox Previews Tests for this mailing. Click here for additional information on this feature.

Open Online Version

In addition to being able to preview the online version when editing a mailing, you can also preview the online version of your mailing and get the URL (web address) of the online version from the Test/Schedule/Send page. The URL will appear above the online version, and can be copied from this page. If your message does not have any content in the online version, this link will not be available.
